Identify the coated aluminum stream
A decoating project starts with the aluminum and coating actually received. Describe whether the feed consists of cans, sections or another confirmed form, and provide representative material information. The equipment should be assessed for that stream rather than a general mixed-aluminum label.
Keep pretreatment distinct from melting
The thermal pretreatment task concerns the coating before the metal reaches a later operation. It is not the same duty as an induction melting furnace. Agree the required condition of the treated aluminum and the interface with any downstream size reduction, collection or melting process.
Define the associated treatment scope
Discuss feed handling, process controls and the associated gas-treatment arrangement as parts of the project. Confirm which equipment is supplied and which responsibilities remain elsewhere. Operating conditions and treatment results need project confirmation; no emissions, energy or metal-recovery guarantee is inferred from the equipment type.

Before you decide
Does a decoating system replace an aluminum melting furnace?
No. Pretreating coated scrap and producing molten metal are different duties, with an agreed handover between them.
Is associated gas treatment automatically included?
Confirm the proposed equipment and responsibility boundaries. The decoating package should identify the included supporting treatment stages.
