Input materials
Prepare an aluminum melt for the receiving process
The furnace serves the melting stage between prepared aluminum charge and the operation receiving molten metal. Describe whether the charge is ingot, identified alloy scrap or another aluminum form. The receiving casting or forming process should be identified separately rather than assumed to be included with the furnace.
Keep charge condition attached to the configuration
Aluminum scrap can differ in size, shape and attached material. Explain the condition of the charge and any preparation already performed. Discuss the intended batch and production pattern against a particular furnace arrangement. A broad family capacity range does not define the electrical requirements or expected cycle of every available configuration.
Coordinate discharge, power and cooling
Confirm the proposed discharge arrangement and how the melt reaches the next operation. Review furnace power supply, transformer requirements where applicable, cooling equipment and site connections as distinct parts of the package. If an ingot line or rod caster is required, specify its output and interfaces rather than transferring a furnace parameter into the downstream specification.

Before you decide
Is an ingot casting line automatically included?
No. Melting and ingot casting are separate equipment duties. The quotation should identify the supplied equipment and the connection between them.
Can all aluminum feed forms use the same setup?
Describe the charge condition and required batch for confirmation. Preparation, configuration and receiving-process requirements should be considered for the particular material.
