Identify the composite material
Aluminum foil bonded to plastic and a rigid composite panel create different preparation requirements. Show the actual feed, its layers, thickness and attached material. The equipment discussion should begin with this construction rather than assuming that every material called aluminum plastic follows one route.
Define the separation duties
A proposed arrangement may need size reduction, liberation and sorting as separate stages. Ask what each stage is intended to produce and what remains attached after treatment. Component names alone do not establish that the aluminum and plastic in your particular feed will separate to the required condition.
Agree the recovered fractions
State what the next buyer or process expects from both material fractions. Discuss residual mixed material and the basis for evaluating a representative sample. Confirm which preparation, conveying, collection and control items are included, keeping the selected configuration attached to the feed description.
Specifications & configurations.
Tell us about your material and required configuration to discuss the relevant specifications.
Before you decide
Can the same setup treat foil and composite panels?
Their construction and preparation needs can differ. Describe each feed separately and confirm the arrangement for its layers and physical form.
Does the equipment name establish final material purity?
No. Define the required fractions and how their composition will be assessed for the proposed feed and configuration.
