Understand the application.
Input materials
Melt a defined precious-metal charge
The equipment provides a crucible-based melting arrangement for gold processing tasks. Specify the metal or alloy and whether the objective is remelting identified material or preparing a melt for casting. Do not use a request for improved purity as a substitute for describing the actual charge and required process.
Distinguish melting from refining
A melting furnace does not by itself define a separation or refining route for mixed precious-metal waste. If impurities must be removed or a composition achieved, describe that requirement as a separate process question. The feed identity, required output and way of checking composition remain important even when the intended final form is a gold bar.
Coordinate the crucible, handling and water connections
The equipment description includes a crucible and associated handling and water components. Confirm their suitability and scope for the selected charge and batch. Discuss pouring, the receiving mold or vessel, available electrical supply and cooling connections together. Capacity labels describe alternatives to be selected; they are not permission to apply one metal or batch condition to every configuration.

Before you decide
Will melting make mixed gold material a specified purity?
Melting alone does not establish a refining process or a purity result. Describe the charge and any required impurity removal separately from the melting duty.
Is the stated equipment weight the weight of metal it holds?
Equipment or packing weight and metal batch capacity are different quantities. Use the selected configuration and its stated measurement labels when discussing handling and charge requirements.
