Reduce a defined wire section
Wire drawing is a metal-forming task, not insulation stripping or the recovery of copper granules. Identify the metal and incoming wire or rod, then state the finished wire requirement. Keep material condition and the receiving application attached to that requirement.
Discuss the drawing arrangement
Provide the starting section, desired finished section and production pattern. Explain whether a wet drawing arrangement or other specific process is required. The number and scope of proposed stages should follow the material and reduction task rather than be inferred from a general machine name.
Connect feed and take-up duties
Describe how the incoming material is supplied and how the drawn wire will be collected. Any annealing, cooling or additional handling should be identified as a separate included or excluded duty. Confirm the line interfaces and site requirements for the chosen arrangement before treating it as a complete wire-production package.

Before you decide
Is wire drawing the same as stripping cable insulation?
No. Drawing changes the metal section. Stripping removes an outer covering and serves a different feed and output task.
Does a drawing machine automatically include annealing and take-up?
Confirm the supplied list. Associated heat treatment, feed handling and collection equipment need an agreed scope.
