Input materials
Output
Start with the copper rod product
The project is organized around a copper rod output rather than steel bars or individual ingots. Identify the copper material and the rod required by the next processing operation. Keep the intended product and its assessment requirements clear before selecting a connected casting and rolling arrangement.
Coordinate casting and rolling duties
Describe the incoming metal supply and how casting, transfer and rolling are intended to connect. The proposed line should identify each stage and the role of associated handling or cooling equipment. It should not be inferred from a steel rolling specification or an aluminum horizontal-casting configuration.
Define the receiving operation
Explain whether the rod will enter drawing or another process and how it needs to be collected. Confirm the supplied modules, utilities, controls and handover boundaries. Material preparation and final product requirements must be assessed for the project rather than applying one headline production figure to every arrangement.
Specifications & configurations.
Tell us about your material and required configuration to discuss the relevant specifications.
Before you decide
Can a steel rolling line specification define this project?
No. The copper material, casting stage, rod product and interfaces require their own configuration assessment.
How does wire drawing relate to this line?
Drawing can be a subsequent forming task for suitable rod. Its feed and output requirements should be matched and scoped separately.
