A connected route from casting to rolled products
The line brings continuous casting and hot rolling into one production arrangement. Its purpose differs from a caster that stops at solid billets or a rolling mill receiving billets from elsewhere. Begin with the steel and finished bar or rebar required, then identify the stages included in the project.
Match the feed section to the finished section
The casting and rolling stages must be discussed against a particular input section and final product. Keep those dimensions attached to the selected configuration instead of combining figures from different arrangements. State the intended product sizes and production pattern, including whether several sections will be made in separate runs.
Define the connection and equipment responsibilities
Review molten-metal supply, billet transfer, rolling, finishing and collection as connected duties. Confirm how heating, cooling, electrical supply and controls are divided between the package and site work. If an existing caster or mill will remain, describe that boundary explicitly; it changes the scope from a wholly new connected line to an integration project.

Before you decide
How does this differ from a continuous casting machine?
A continuous casting machine produces billets. This line additionally includes rolling and associated forming or finishing stages to reach the specified rolled product.
Can input and final dimensions be taken from different configurations?
Use a matched input and output specification for the proposed arrangement. Confirm the required sizes with the complete casting and rolling configuration.
