Identify the battery feed and handover point
State the battery chemistry where known, physical format and condition in which material reaches the proposed equipment. Identify upstream work already completed and which tasks remain outside this package. Cell material, modules and complete packs require separate scope discussions.
Set the required recovery streams
Define the fractions the project is intended to collect and their next destination. Ask the proposal to distinguish preparation, size reduction, separation and collection duties where applicable. The equipment list should follow that agreed route; a general recycling-line title does not establish a particular process configuration.
Review the project as a connected installation
Provide the intended operating pattern, available utilities, site layout and existing equipment. Confirm equipment interfaces, collection points and the documents required for the selected process. Material suitability, supplied modules and performance conditions belong in a project-specific proposal.

Before you decide
Can one line proposal cover every lithium battery format?
Identify chemistry, format, incoming condition and preparation separately. The process and equipment scope need to be assessed for that defined feed.
Does the line name establish the finished material quality?
Define each target fraction and its receiving specification, then agree how the proposed process and results will be assessed. No universal output grade follows from the name alone.
