Compact a defined chip stream
This equipment type addresses compaction of machining chips and turnings. Its task differs from tying bulky mixed scrap into a bale. Describe whether the feed consists of short chips, curled turnings or tangled material, and identify which metals will be processed in separate batches.
Keep preparation and pressing separate
Long turnings, fluids and solid inclusions affect the preparation discussion. State what reaches the press and which preparation equipment already exists. A chip crusher, fluid-handling stage and briquetting press perform different duties; their inclusion should be agreed rather than inferred from a combined process illustration.
Specify the briquette handover
Explain whether briquettes will be transported, sold or sent to another on-site process. Agree the required form and receiving conditions without assuming that pressing establishes an alloy grade or immediate furnace acceptance. Confirm feeding, collection, hydraulic equipment and site connections within the proposed package.

Before you decide
Does briquetting also remove every fluid or contaminant?
Compaction is a distinct task. Discuss any fluid handling and preparation separately, with a defined feed condition for the press.
Is this the same equipment as a scrap baler?
The intended feed is machining chips or turnings. A baler for bulky scrap addresses a different material presentation and output form.
