Build molds for a specified casting
A resin-sand molding project concerns preparing and handling molds for a defined cast component. It is a different route from lost-foam pattern processing or continuous billet production. Begin with the casting geometry, metal and the molding process required by the foundry.
Coordinate material preparation and molding
Identify the sand and binder system and the way prepared mixture reaches mold production. Discuss mold size, handling and the expected production pattern. A sand mixer can perform one preparation duty but should not be assumed to define the entire molding arrangement.
Set the foundry project boundary
Confirm the mold-handling equipment and its connection with pouring and later casting treatment. State which machinery already exists and which stages are to be supplied. The line scope should explain the work of each module without turning a molding project into an unsupported promise for complete metal production.
Specifications & configurations.

Before you decide
Is a sand mixer equivalent to a molding line?
No. Mixing prepares material, while a molding project includes the defined mold-making and handling tasks needed by the casting.
What helps define the proposed line?
Provide casting geometry, mold dimensions, the intended sand and binder system, production pattern and existing foundry equipment.
